![]() ![]() ![]() On a real board the dice roll is random, with Free Backgammon software it controls the roll of the dice and rolls what it needs, it only pretends to roll random by allowing me to win two out of ten games. The objective of the game is to be first to move all fifteen pieces off the game board. None of this happens to me when I play with real people on real board. Backgammon is a two-player game, that involves a combination of strategy and luck, where each player has fifteen checkers or pieces that move between twenty-four triangles (points) according to the roll of two dice. Reverse this were the software has four points covered in its home square and I roll six or seven times before I can get out, if I get out at all. Toward the end of the game I can have four out of six points covered and hit the software's singe puck and it will roll out with only two out of a six chance to do so on the first roll. If I am lucky I might get to hit the software's single puck three out of ten times and then it only allows me to do this when it cost me, like leaving a single puck in my home quarter. ![]() Even on the Easy setting (which I believ e is bs no matter what setting it plays the same) it hits my single puck eight times out of ten on the first role. While I like the features of the game the software that plays the game with me cheats, and cheats really bad. ![]()
